I can safely say that my defense in shopping this week is because of Fashion Week. Granted, it’s probably not the best excuse, but it’s one of them. So to kick off Fashion Week, I wanted to share with you the newest additions to my shoe-drobe!

While browsing through my email, I got an alert from Payless (don’t judge me, I have a point). Now, usually I delete the mass of emails, but this time I had a birthday promotion, which was followed by their BOGO 50% promo. And because I have a slight obsession with flats, I gave in. Low and behold Christian Siriano!

Being that there’s a reasonably sized Payless near my job, I opted for a visit during lunch (because if I have to work during Fashion Week, I might as well do a little shopping to compensate the emptiness in my heart).

Back to the important matters in life.

In the past, I’ve purchased shoes from Payless, some being amazing while others were convenient. If you’ve kept up with me, you know that I found a few pairs of fabulous and comfortable flats in the winter/spring (which are still super comfy). That being said, I knew it was time for a new pair. Now, the style at first glance wasn’t ‘love at first sight,’ but the moment I tried them on, yes, there was immediate love and satisfaction.

Since my size seems to be quite popular and I take NO chances when it comes to fabulous footwear, I caved. I purchased the most comfortable and beautiful flats in two (yes, 2!) colors for the fall: wine and black. Obviously.
