Lip Chic Lip Sealer - A Lipstick Miracle

Have you fallen victim to smudging lipstick, gloss, or liner? If applying translucent powder isn't your thing, Lip Chic's lipstick sealers might just be your next best friend!

I never understood why, after applying translucent powder, my lipstick smudged. Was I too barbaric when eating or having a drink? Am I using too many layers of product? Well, that all went away after trying this product. Found stashed away in a friends grab-bag, I opted to see if it really worked. After all, it was a free gift she received. However, I was not prepared for what happened next.

After applying lip balm (I use either Burt's Bees or EOS), I let it sit for about two (2) minutes before applying lip primer (ELF). Then, I dived into my lip routine, composed of lip liner (I'm currently obsessed with MAC's Heroine and Spice), a few applications of lipstick, and of course, Lip Chic's Lip Sealer. Now, don't be alarmed when you feel a tingle sensation (but if it prolongs for more than 1-2 minutes, remove lip products and immediately apply a lip balm). I like to apply a few coats (probably not the greatest idea), but you can apply 1-2, covering your perfectly lined lips and plump pout.

Now, I've been using this product for a few months and have a love-hate relationship - tbh. While I write this, I feel my lip color flaking off and it's only 10:15am - I left my house after applying at 7:45am. However, the color is still vibrant and hasn't budged otherwise  while drinking my morning coffee. According to their website, it's a hot product in Europe and has been for over 65 years! If you haven't tried it, it's worth the $12 ticket, even with minimal flaking (or maybe I just have dry lips because mine absorb everything under the sun, idk).

If you try it, let me know your thoughts!

Oh, and you can forget about lipstick on your teeth because you have to keep your lips separated while the product dries.

Hail to the beauty spirits!
